What if you woke up one morning and found yourself in 2023?
What if you had to pass through an ‘energy barrier’ when you arrived for work on your Thales site? What if your working environment was replaced by a futuristic lounge? And what if your personal work space appeared as a hologram in front of you?
The futuristic scenario was conceived by student engineers from the CoDesign centre of the HEI, ISA, ISEN group in Lille with a Thales team in Lambersart. Together they tried to answer an intruiging question — how do you imagine life on your site in ten years’ time…
With the Lambersart site celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2013, this video is the occasion to give a progress report, but also to imagine what the site may look like in 2023. Working with teams at Thales, these student engineers shared their vision of the world and its evolution in domains as varied as technology, ecology, the balance between our personal and professional lives and the globalisation of information.
